Arthritis is a term which covers a group of over 100 diseases. They were more than 100 types of arthritis and its related conditions. The word  "arthritis" defines  "joint inflammation." Inflammation is one of the body's natural reactions for disease and injury. Arthritis is swelling and tenderness for one or more  joints. The main symptoms for arthritis is joint pain and stiffness, which will get worsen with the age. The most known types of arthritis were osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It may stay same for years but can progress or get worsen. Severe arthritis can result in chronic pain, unable to do daily activities and it will make difficult to walk or climb steps. 

Arthritis may cause permanent changes in joint. These changes will be visible, such as knobby finger joints, but the damage can only seen in X-ray. Some types of arthritis will affect the heart, eyes, lungs, kidneys and skin also the joints.
