Finally after 24 weeks the levels of a specific inflammatory marker is decreased in both groups — by 38.5% in the olive oil group and between 40–55% in the fish oil group.

4. Garlic

Most of the people don’t know that garlic has cancer-fighting properties. it also contain compounds that may decrease the risk of heart disease and dementia.

Garlic helps to improve the Immune System.

In one study it showed that a specific component in garlic will decrease some of the inflammatory markers linked with arthritis.

5. Ginger

We use ginger as a flavor for teas, soups and sweets, ginger also helps to decrease the symptoms of arthritis.

In one of the study the effects of ginger extracted in 261 patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the knee. Six weeks later, 63% of patients experienced improvements in knee pain.

I also heard that ginger and its components blocked the production of substances that promote inflammation in the body.

So in the end taking ginger as a fresh, powdered or dried form will reduce inflammation and aid in reducing symptoms of arthritis.
